Mr. Burns, set in a post-apocalyptic world in which The Simpsons become the mythology for a new society, is told in three acts. The first is a conventional play. The second involves the company of actors preparing a musical, and the third is told with music and choreography.
The play, performed outdoors and masked, marked our post-Covid return to live theatre with an audience.
